Over the last few years, Celenic Earth Publications has mostly focused on fiction and anthologies. We may have had some spiritual short stories in our anthology volumes, but we’ve never actually published any religious or spiritual books.
Until now. We met with Cape Town citizen Luthando Ningiza a few weeks ago who spoke to us about his desire to publish his books about God. His message was so heart-spoken that it was easy to see where his passion lies.
We are currently working on two of his books that will be released at the same time, namely “Greatness of God” and “God of Mankind”. Luthando is currently working on several other books at the moment.
We will keep you updated on the launch of his books. For now, here is a biography on Luthando.
My name is Luthando Cevyen Ningiza, familiarly known as Luthando. Luthando is a combination of two simple words; that is:
“ Lu => it’s ” and “ thando => Love ”.
That we can say, the name Luthando means nothing else but ‘ it’s love ’
My Historical background :
I was born and grew up in a very small town, but with exciting people with lots of talent that needed to be developed. The town is in the Province of the Eastern Cape, Queenstown, South Africa. I was born in October 1972.
About Me :
I grew up in a disadvantaged extended family. I grew up under the parental guidance of my grandparents, my mother’s parents. I never experienced any bond with my biological father, but that never broke me, as the guidance of my grandparents never let me to feel that in my life; instead it made me dream big.
I did my schooling around the local schools from primary to high school, up until I finished my matriculation in 1994.
After high school. I went from one college to another doing short courses, where I managed to achieve my Tertiary diploma and certificates.
While I was still at high school. I had this thing and a dream in me of seeing my self writing and publishing my own books. Though at that time, I never knew what I would write about.
Then in 1999, December. I went to Cape Town, Western Cape to look for a job as a man.
While I was walking in the streets of Cape Town, during the first six months of arriving in Cape Town, I met with the Lord Jesus Christ and became a born again child of God.
Two years later and onward, things for me became sour. Things did not go the way I wanted and it was unpleasant for me. I experienced one hardship after another, but there were those two songs that we kept singing at my Church that motivated me and it let me never to give up on life, but to keep pressing on. The lyrics of the songs goes as :
1) “I know the Lord will make a way for me. If I press on, He gives me power, to press on, Jesus in me, will make a way for me….! ”.
2) “I don’t see no way down… I came to far from where I started from. Nobody told me, my life will be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me…. ”
I am a single father of two lovely kids. A boy and a girl. A love them a lot. They mean the whole world to me.
I consider other people better than myself.
What inspired me to write my books
The world we are living today is sad and painful at times. People have just lost hope, they have been disappointed by the people they have trusted. Things are not going well with their lives. They have tried to do their best, but they see their best not going well.
People are in pain, anxiety and depression.
Writing these books were the inspiration to me to go out there and open people’s minds and their way of thinking, to encourage them to open up their eyes and see that there is an awesome God out there. The very same God who was there during the times of the ancient days, is still that very same God who created heaven and earth.
He is that God who still longs for His people to come closer to Him, to trust and seek Him, and to let all their burdens to Him.
I felt something inspired me deep down to write these books in order to play a vital role to encourage and motivate God’s people, whatever they are experiencing. They must not loose hope, they must stand up and come closer to God, also to trust and obey. If they do good, they watch their ways and walk accordingly, and they think positively, they will find peace and comfort in their lives, for there is no other way to be happy, but to trust and obey the Lord the creature.
